15th of November In the evening of that day, Katerina Andreeva was detained in the «courtyard of changes». A makeshift memorial to Roman Bondarenko was set up there, hundreds of people came. «Caring people» living in a building on the 14th floor offered journalists to broadcast live from their apartments what was happening on the street. The journalist spent five and a half hours there. After the protesters were dispersed, the security forces broke down the door of the apartment and detained everyone inside.
17th of November Katerina Andreeva was convicted on two administrative charges: for participation in an unauthorised mass event and disobeying the demands of police officers. She was sentenced to seven days of arrest. A police report stated that she had been detained «on a sidewalk near a roadway», where she «actively participated in a rally».
20th of November It turned out that after seven days of arrest Katerina would not be released: she was charged under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code – «Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them.» Katerina was put in custody for two months — until 20 January 2021.
